1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta spider (750D)
Engine number is 1315 44521   chassis  1495 05497

This Alfa Romeo Giulietta spider was located in a facility across the warehouse I store my cars. Although I was not actively looking for one, a Giulietta spider has always
been one of those cars that on my list of "Some day I really would not mind having one of those". Unfortunately that list in my case is rather long!

Well, this Giulietta is simply in fantastic shape and I could not resist when the car came and said "take me home". I do not know the first thing about Alfas .. so it is time to
start learning. According to the factory records, this car was built on January 7, 1959. It was sold new to a military man stationed in Alabama, the car was for his wife. They
later moved to Virginia where the Alfa was put in storage when she passed away. It was much later purchased by a gentleman in Georgia that had the car painted 10 years
ago in its original red color. Car has never had any rust or accidents. Odometer shows only 31K miles, which is believed to be accurate. Interior and trunk rubber mats are
still the original. It is just a very nice, clean, no stories Alfa .... great find!

I've entered the Alfa in several shows and always seems to do quite well:

2006 Atlanta Italian Car Day - Best Alfa
2006 EuroAuto Festival - BMW factory in Spartanburg, NC. I drove the Alfa from Atlanta and got first place by the judges and first place by people's choice

2008 V's Customers - First Place European Sports Cars (it beat a Mercesdes 300SL. Even the mighty Mercedes has a hard time competing against a cute car!

2008 Atlanta Italian Car Day - Best Alfa from a field of over 20 Alfas
200
8 EuroAuto Festival - BMW factory in Spartanburg, NC. Repeated the driving trip from Atlanta and again got first place by the judges and first place by people's choice
