I purchased this very original Bora from a gentleman located just a few miles from my home in Atlanta, he owned the car for 24 years! The car has just below 25K original miles.
Interior: Very nice black interior with original leather. All gauges work (including the clock), the AC is not blowing cold but everything is connected, Headliner and dash are in very good condition. Comes with the original Blaupunkt "stalk" radio. This was a $1500 option in 1973 and even includes a microphone for when you want to dictate while motoring at speeds. Electric antenna and power windows are in working order.
Body: Shows no signs of prior accidents or rust repairs, this is a genuine rust free southern car ... just some very spots on the bottom of the door, but that is to be expected on a 30 year old Italian car. Doors, rear deck and front hood all fit extremely well. The paint was redone many years ago and still looks acceptable for a driver. Stainless steel roof is a unique Bora feature and is in excellent condition. Glass is in very good condition.
Mechanicals: The 4.9 liter V8 engine starts right up and has plenty of power. The engine compression was just checked are strong and within 10% of each other. The four Weber 42DCNF carbs were just rebuilt. It is a matching number car. The engine number matches that of the body. Hydraulic system just underwent servicing including two new brake accumulators and a main sphere. Car shifts very well and clutch feels strong. Includes factory jack , spare tire with cover, and rare original owner's manual. The are some oil leaks coming mainly from the cam covers. Tires are VR rated and in good condition.
