I am selling this 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS on behalf of the late owner’s estate.
The car was purchased in March of 2008 from a Pennsylvania dealer. The car had 34,000 miles at the time. This is indicated on the Georgia title and on CarFax. Car currently has 48,453 miles.
In March 2016 the engine was rebuilt. This included new valves, guides, and stem seals. The block was disassembled and new rings, crank and rod bearings, polished crankshaft, and wrist pin bushing. The clutch was also replaced at that time. New accessory belts and cooling hoses, new timing belt and bearings, new water pump, plus more. Car had 46,942 miles (only 1,511 miles ago). Included with the car are the receipts that document the work done. There are also maintenance receipts for work done after the engine rebuild. The last oil change was performed in June 2020 when the car had 48,250 miles (only 200 miles ago).
I would rate this 328 GTS as a high-quality driver. The paint has a deep gloss and looks quite nice. There are a few minor dings here and there but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance.
Interior shows very little wear and is very nice. The seats show sign of having been properly recovered and I suspect also the carpeting was replaced as it looks too nice to be original. Dash and instruments all look nice. The radio was replaced with a newer unit. The estate is looking for the tools and manauls but has not been able to locate them.
Engine compartment is nice and clean, as expected from an engine that has been recently rebuilt.
Michelin Pilot tires look like new and have a date code of 19th week in 2015. All four wheels are in excellent condition without curb damage.
Click on the CarFax image on the right to view the report. Spoiler alert: it is a clean CarFax without any accidents 🙂
