I think the early rendition of the Alfa Romeo spider is one of the most beautiful cars ever created. The rear of the car, with its boat tail, is simply perfect.
This particular 1750 Duetto is a local Atlanta car. The previous owner is a mechanic that specializes in vintage European cars. This was his personal car that he personally restored. This involved taking the car down to bare metal and applying a very nice quality paint job. This was completed about 10 years ago. About 4 years ago he decided to redo the car's mechanics with many new pars. The engine was completely rebuilt at that time and the clutch, brakes and injection unit were also serviced. Many new parts were installed as can be seen on the photos.
The car has been kept stock with the exception of a more modern Nardi steering wheel (original wheel comes with the car) and updated wheels and tires. The paint is very nice and an equally nice blue canvas top was installed. The black interior is in very nice condition.
Mechanically the car runs very good with gauges and accessories in working order.
This is about as nice a Duetto you will find, with the exception of trailer queens. Only thing I would do to it is add the plexiglass headlight covers; which I will probably do soon.
