I had been reading so much about the new mid-engine Corvette that I had to try it out for myself. In December 2020 I was able to purchase one of the GM demo coupes. That car was also a 3LT model (with all the nice interior upgrades) but did not have the Z51 performance package.
I was so impressed with the coupe that I decided to place an order for a convertible, and this time I could configure the car just like I wanted it. Of course, that is easier said than done since there were no slots to even place an order as demand is so high and GM is having parts supply issues.
In July 2021 my new Vette was delivered and I continue to be impressed with these cars. Not only does it have the 3LT package with the nice sound system and leather/suede interior but is loaded with the performance options such as the Z51 package and magnaride. Even better, because demand continues to be high I was able to exchange the used 2020 coupe for this brand new 2021 convertible for almost no money.
