Verde Bahram with original biscuit interior, matching numbers, power steering, AC, Borrani wire wheels, XWX tires, tools and manuals, 5-speed, 71K mikes
This lovely Ferrari 365GT 2+2 came from a good friend that owned it since the early 1980's. The car is all original with the exception of a high quality paint job in its original Verde Bahram, which was completed a few years ago. The color is an emerald green that looks fantastic on this car .... photos don't do it justice.
This is an extremely honest car that has never had rust or been in an accident. If you like well kept original cars with tons of patina, then you will really like this 365GT. The original leather is nice and soft and was re-dyed to bring back the color. I just like to sit in the car and smell it ! The headliner, wood, dash material and even the green carpeting is all original. This is the type of car Concours D'Elegance judges want to use when evaluating restored cars for authenticity.
These cars were built like tanks. The doors have a very solid feel and the build quality overall is excellent. While the car itself is rather large it does not feel that large when driving it. The engine has a nice sporty exhaust note and the V12 is more than capable of propelling the vehicle.
Mechanically the car is in excellent condition with no significant oil leaks. Engine is very smooth and has consistent compression across all 12 cylinders as determined by a recent compression test. This engine has never been apart and the exhaust is smoke free and runs silky smooth. These are great and reliable engines when they are properly maintained.
Overall a superb vehicle with a long term ownership.. Power steering, 5-speed, factory AC, original radio and electric antenna, Borrani wire wheels, manuals and tools. Matching number engine. This is a no-stories car that will please anyone that appreciates a well kept original car.
This car was shown at the 2018 Euro Auto Festival in Greenville, SC which featured Italian cars. This 365GT won best Ferrari in its class.
I recently acquired a Ferrari 365 GTB4 Daytona which is filling the niche for a 365 V12 Ferrari.
