This is a Maserati Ghibli coupe I am helping a friend sell. The car is currently located in Colorado where it has spent the last 20 years. It has
the more attractive drop down rear trunk latch characteristic of the early cars, true knock of wheels, 4.7 liter engine with 4 overhead cams, 4 Weber carbs and toggle switches. The earlier cars tend to have cleaner lines as they do not have the side reflectors which were later added.
The odometer reads 45K and records back to 1977 would indicate the mileage is accurate. Mechanically the car is in very good condition, my friend just recently put 200 miles on it. Paint is quite good with just a few blemishes here and there. There are a few rust bubbles on the front of the hood (see photos). These were there when he bought the car 10 years ago and they have not changed. Wheels and tires are in very good condition. AC is working but not blowing cold (most likely low on freon). Engine number matches VIN. The interior is quite nice and appears to be mostly original. Even the radio is the original and it is nice to see that nobody installed speakers on the doors (this was very common in the 1970's and 1980's)
This is a no stories driver quality car that is currently owned by an active Maserati enthusiast. Includes the factory tools, jack in the bag and original owner's manual!
