1969 Maserati Ghibli

Serial number: AM115 614

This is an European example built in October 1968 and is most likely one of the last examples built with the more attractive (and reliable) toggle switches. Later cars were done with rocker switches to conform to US regulations. The rocker switches tend to be astectically harder to maintain (the plastic chrome plating cracks) and electrically are not as durable. This Ghibli has with its original matching number 4.7 liter dry sump V8 engine fed by four Weber carbs, 5-speed ZF gearbox, the very attractive star burst knock-off Campagnolo wheels. A/C works, all instruments (including clock) in working order, very good Pirelli tires, total mileage is 79,000 kilometers (49,000 miles), older paint job in good condition. very nice interior - mostly original except the front seats and front carpet which were redone, good chrome and glass. Engine was rebuilt within the last two years by well known Maserati mechanic, new clutch and brake boosters.. This euro model has the factory hotter cams and unrestricted exhaust ... giving it the sound and performance the factory intended for these cars.
