This is an European example built in October 1969 and is an interesting combination of the more attractive toggle switch interior with the later (and more reliable) carbs and brake booster. Most Ghiblis built this late in the production line were done with rocker switches to conform to US regulations. The rocker switches tend to be astectically harder to maintain (the plastic chrome plating cracks) and electrically are not as durable. This Ghibli has with its original matching number 4.7 liter dry sump V8 engine fed by four Weber carbs, 5-speed ZF gearbox, new clutch, the very attractive star burst Campagnolo wheels. working A/C, all instruments in working order, good tires, older paint job in "driver" condition., factory records confirm car has always been silver blue metalic.
The roof mounted antenna is original as the first owner was a gentleman in Bologna. At first my intent was to remove it but after a short time it "grew on me" ... it is quite unique and very stylish (see photos). I can have it removed if the new owner objects to it. Very nice interior - mostly original with gives the car a nice patina. This euro model has the factory hotter cams and quad pipe unrestricted exhaust... giving it the sound and performance the factory intended for these cars and which the US cars lack.
Just serviced (radiator flushed, brake fluid replaced, carbs synchronized, new valve cover gaskets, etc) and runs great! Car is ready to been joyed.
