This is a very nice 4.2 liter series 1 fixed head 2-person coupe (not a 2+2). It has an older body restoration and a fresh mechanical refurbishing after long time storage. It is all matching numbers except for the head which was replaced and does not have a number. The car comes with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate which authenticates the numbers.
The dark blue and tan color combination looks stunning on this car! The dash was upgraded with very nice wood veneer that reminds me of the wood Jaguar used on the XK coupes and sedans. Generally I am a stickler for originality and disapprove of cosmetic modifications but I have to admit this dash looks extremely nice and is the way Jaguar should have built this car. Chrome is nice, including the wire wheels.
The engine was just completely rebuilt by Coventry West and comes with a one year warranty from December 28, 2011.
