The car has 54K original miles, automatic, air conditioner, power steering and wire wheels. The body was stripped to bare metal, doors and bonnet removed and a complete $15,000 paint job done in its original primrose yellow (pale yellow) color. The body was found to be in superb rust free and accident free condition. The paint quality and finish are superb!

The engine was recently serviced with new engine seals, cooling hoses and belts. Excellent oil pressure and no smoke. Suspension was done with polyurethane bushings, braided steel brake lines. The engine compartment is extremely clean and proper. All gauges, including the clock are working. The AC blows cold. Car is fitted with new redline tires, including the spare which has never been used. The interior is in excellent condition as is the convertible top. Chrome and wire wheels are excellent.

The 1972 are the rarest and most desirable of the series 3 (V12) E-type. The 72 have the smaller and more attractive bumpers. In addition far fewer V12 roadsters were made in 72 than in 73 and 74 ... just look at what XKEs are being advertised and you will find few 72 V12 roadster.

Includes receipts, jack in the bag, knock off hammer, knock off tool, boot cover (for when the top is down), owners manual, wiring diagram and lubrication poster.

This is not a trailer queen, but is as nice as a V12 E-type as you find anywhere. Great for weekend driving!
