1973 Jaguar V12 E-type Roadster

VIN: UD1S21225

Very clean e-type roadster which has never had rust or been abused. Rare dark blue exterior (original color) with black hides. Recent bare metal resray ... see photos of car stripped to bare metal. Only 50K miles since new. The engine compartment is unmolested with all the proper emission hoses, air pump, vacuum hoses, clips, etc still intact. Even the spare key is still located on the firewall.! Desirable manual transmission, air conditioner, power steering and like new chrome wire wheels.

Interior- Overall very nice. No rips on the leather ... not even the rip typically found when the seats are not raised before lowering the top. Soft top is in very good condition with clear rear window. Radio is a period Becker in working order. All gauges, switches, lights and even the clock is working. AC works although it has been too cold to test its effectiveness. Heater and fan are in working order.

Body- No signs of rust or accidents The car was repainted in 2003 with a bare metal respray. This was not a "quicky" paint job, as you can see from the photos below the bonnet, doors and trunk lid were removed and the car was stripped of all exterior paint. The original floor pans are in excellent shape and the sub frames still show the original paint. The engine compartment is clean and correct. The bonnet and doors have very good gaps The paint is very nice. Chrome and glass are very good. Pireilli P5 tires have about 50% of life remaining. The boot (trunk) has all original material, tools, manuals, and even an original e-type dealer sales brochure from 1973!

Mechanicals: Matching number engine, Starts right up with the pull of the choke and runs well. Great oil pressure, transmission shifts effortless without clutch chatter, brakes work well, cooling fans cycle normally. Has Ansa 4 pipe exhaust which adds a great sound. Ready to be enjoyed!
