This 1974 Mercesdes Benz 450SL was my dailey driver in the 1980's. The car was reliable, comfortable and build like a tank. This was the first year with the big USA bumpers. On the positive side the 1974 model did not have teh problematic catalitic converters whcih were installed starting in 1975.
