This is a 1965 Maserati 3500 GTSi Sebring series 1 in need of restoration.
First, the good part: The car appears to be complete and there are no signs of prior accidents. Door and trunk lid gaps are very good. Glass is very good.The engine was rebuilt and starts rights up and sounds good. It shows very good oil pressure and no smoke. Engine has Webers. New fuel pump. The interior is original but needs to be redone. Original radio.
And now for the not so good stuff: There is rust on both rocker panels. Someone stripped the paint in preparation to repairing the rockers and never got around to it. There is also some rust under the two gas tanks and around the front portion of the hood frame. Also some rust around the windshield. The frame structure itself is massive on these cars and appears quite solid. Interior and chrome will need to be done. Brakes have no pressure.
